We are looking forward to opening our new Kypseli Taverna at No15 Stone Street, Cranbrook, planned for June 2021.

Kypseli means Hive in Greek. A taverna is a community space where friends and family gather to eat and enjoy one another’s company, as well as being a local food shop. Kypseli will offer vibrant indoor and outdoor dining areas, serving delicious freshly-prepared food and will also be a speciality food shop retailing some of the very best produce from across Kent, Sussex and the Greek islands.

Front of House

Are you courteous and confident with customers? Have you worked in hospitality delivering excellent customer service with a smile? We are looking for ‘front of house’ that are well presented and understand the importance of providing prompt and professional service to our customers. You will be assisting managers with day-to-day organisational tasks, taking food orders, serving behind the deli, patisserie and barista counters and undertaking any other tasks deemed necessary to support your colleagues and provide an efficient service to our guests.

Are you a stickler for cleanliness and hygiene? Do you have an eye for detail and keeping all things fresh, neat and tidy? We are looking for ‘kitchen service’ staff to maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the premises, process all washing up, step in to help clear tables when we are busy and keep all items of catering and serving equipment in pristine condition. You will also be expected to assist with stock control and take on the responsibility of other tasks as and when required.
