After Business School in Edinburgh, where I also gained a CIM Diploma, I started my career working in the Superyacht industry in the Mediterranean. I then found myself in the City of London with the London Stock Exchange, doing M&A and IPO’s of companies like; Lastminute.com, Halfords etc.

A further stint in Financial Regulation (UKLA – FSA/FCA) then followed (punctuated with a spell in investment banking) where I worked for a number of years with my colleagues on the regulatory aspects of sorting out the UK Banking Industry.

Over the last few years, I have been busy with my consultancy business. Working on everything from brand launches to cultural change exercises. A particular highlight of this work was spending a few years working all over the world (notably Australia) with the world’s premier opera houses, TV & Film companies.

All in all, I suppose it’s hard not to characterise myself as a generalist with a broad and eclectic skill set.

I particularly enjoy strategy creation & implementation and the resultant cultural change aspect – especially where there is a strong creative element. Currently, I am keeping myself busy doing just that by setting up an Anglo/Australian sustainable adventure apparel business here in Kent.

It’s great to now be a part of the vibrant Hive community. I’m always interested in connecting with inspiring people with great ideas and generally getting myself into also sorts of commercial adventures.
